Hello Kevin and "Penguin5540", We are currently building new versions of the app. Building windows apps is much more labor intensive than for Linux so I am not sure we'll have two versions, but we'll consider it. "What's the advantage from your perspective?": As a general rule performance differences between 32 and 64 bit versions under Linux are slight and I remember tests of early 64 bit windows versions which supported this position. Have Windows-x86 and Linux SL69 (as a VM) running on ONE Computer. When you show the Details of both Computer: Windows x86-Software have 0.5 GFlops Linux x86-64 Software have 1.0 GFlops If the Team will finish a Windows x86-64 Version, this would be fine! |

Camb_boinc2docker is the new application and, I think, is 64 bit already. The FAQ states Docker only supports 64 bit. Camb_legacy still runs but the results are only used for Pico training, per the FAQ. Legacy has not been updated since 2015. |

It is a real disappointment, for me, not to see the applications updated with the latest instructions (like 'avx') of modern processors. |
