I used to be a keen Cosmology@Home member, but I hate the credit system on this project, having 420 credits however long or short it may be. It`s a stupid system, and I don`t know any other project that uses it. I`d love to come back to Cosmo, but I will not be doing so until the credit system is changed. |

This is a good point, you should be credited for how much computing power you put in. |

QMC has fixed points too or? Always get the exact same amount of Credits as i remember. And i think the more computing power you invest in cosmology the more credits you get. My Workunitslength is always the same i think 13 hours per piece. Would i stick more power in it it would raise down to 7 Hours and then i would get double as credits. Dont know whats the mainissue here now *G* (but ok its a older thread perhaps something changed in the meantime ^^) |

I only get 420 credit per WU. Thats for either the 13+ hour ones, or the 4-5 hour ones. It does really deter a lot of users who like to point whore. But it doesnt help the project any either. |
