So far has been working well. Dunn't (as in do not) know about the usefulness of the work being done. There is little info on the web site. Would be nice to have more info on the science behind this project. Joined mainly because of the name and sponsors. Any comments or info? |

Yes i agree to. I dont care that much about credits and stuff like that. But i like to know what my cpu power is used for and see some results. This subject also interests me alot so i would love to know if there is any progress. |

Same problem would be nice to have some more info, I think is important for us all to have a bettre picture of the cosmos, in the last twenty year we have done giant leap. Mainly because of collaboration (competition) between scientist I did join because it said cosmology, but I have really no idea what my CPU is working for. Would be nice to have some insight. No much info on the site?? Totally agree with you lot would be nice to know |

Hello Don, Thank you for your post. Actually, the work you are doing is very important. I will soon post a summary about the importance of the work members of this website are doing. I will also provide you with some links where you could find more information on this type of research. Best! Faik Member of the C@H Team |

Hi - Just to clarify - my home page is only a click away from any page on cosmologyathome.org (click on BEN WANDELT in the nav. bar). That page contains further resources describing the science behind the project. There is a research section more geared towards professionals and and "explore" section geared towards the interested members of the general public. Together with Faik, we will be adding to this material, either directly here at C@H or at my associated home page and possibly with something new - watch this space. All the best, Ben PS: Since one of the posts raised the old issue of deleted accounts, let me explain again: there was one incident of deleted user accounts nearly 2 years ago. It happened for a good reason: those users had been hacked and contained inappropriate material. There have not been any further incidents since then. I am very sorry for the people who got hit, but we really had to deal with the situation and the only practical solution was to do what we did. Creator of Cosmology@Home |
